Wiebke Grösch / Frank Metzger (DE): Good News

The words “Good News” are installed on the roof of the shops along Ruten. With their work “Good News” Wiebke Grösch / Frank Metzger are questioning the relationship between personal and media perception. The negative image of Tingbjerg, which is spread by the media, is based on a one-sided view, that only picks out certain extreme examples. But it stands in contrast to the largely positive perception of the residents of the neighbourhood. “Good News” is reminiscent of the overlooked moments of happiness, of wishes that (unexpectedly) come true, of plans that succeed.
